Anime Recommendations
There are many great anime out there and there’s no point in recommending already well known ones. Here are two, which I perceive as rather lesser known.
Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Link to heading

It’s a show about Mukouda, an ordinary guy, who gets teleported to Kingdom of Reijseger, a European-style medieval world, where he has to go on adventures, traveling between towns, fighting monsters and explore dungeons. Everyone who gets brought to this world has a certain unique skill set. His is only grocery shopping.
But this makes him uniquely great in this world, since he can make the most phenomenal and tasty dishes, granting anyone who eats them remarkable stat boosts. This tasty food attracts a powerful creature, a fenrir wolf, into his service, for the price of more tasty food.
The greatness of this show does not stem from the adventures, but from how it celebrates japanese food and how Fel, the fenrir wolf, reacts with over-the-top excitement to every bite. His excitement is infectious.
Season 2 is currently being released.
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Link to heading

This show follows Akira and his friends living through the zombie apocalypse. It begins with Akira finding his dream job of working for a media company. Turns out corporate life isn’t what it’s made up to be. And then the zombie apocalypse happens and our protagonist jumps with happiness, because he doesn’t need to go working anymore.
It is pretty clear how the show connects corporate work life with being part of the living dead and that breaking from it leads to life. The latter half takes the group of friends to Akira’s home town, tapping it into the recent off-grid life nostalgia.
It’s funny, fast-paced, and easy to recommend. So far, there’s been no word on a second season — unfortunately.
